A unique keyboard player and a great musician. I have had the honour to see him playing live 3 times and must admit MM Earth Band rocks.

A topnotch Live Band !

Hear, hear!
I have seen him twice with MMEB, and once at the Polar Price event. He played in honour to Bob Moog, who received the Polar Price from the Swedish king.
Manfred is the Minimoog soloist! I have played his solos hundreds of times; he is my solo mentor. He is one of the few who can play a synth as a real musical instrument, not just a machine.
His arrangements of the MMEB songs are great too.
If you havn't heard MMEB, try "The roaring silence", "Watch", "Angel station" or "Chance".

The title track to one of MMEB's first CD's Glorified Magnified is one of the best rock-EM instrumentals of all time, IMO. As it comes to a crescendo conclusion with chorals, moog, drums and guitar, it's almost exultant in nature. Wonderful stuff. The vocal music on the album is equally good. The follow-up to the album was Solar Fire which I didn't like as much, but most folks thought it was better.

I'm also fond of Glorified Magnified and Solar Fire plus Messin'.
There was still a touch of that New Orleans influence that permiated MM Chapter 3.

I seem to recall a fine MM MiniMoog solo on Uriah Heep's Look at Yourself album.

One of my favourite songs of all time is their version of I (Who Have Nothing), some great synth work on here.

His Minimoog solos are the best to me.
I wish I could play like this.

I was introduced to MMEB in my early teen-year by my older brother.
And I still listen to his music several times per month.

My favorites are "Good Earth" and "Nightingales and Bombers" from the mis seventies.
The latest music though is not of the same quality as his other MMEB tracks.

I've always had a soft spot for "Chance".

Mind you, anyone here like MM Chapter III?
