I've only just found out about this thing, but it's definitely very cool. I want one for Christmas. There's a bunch of demos on YouTube, such as this one: http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=XK1K_jJ08Rc&fmt=18

If you already have a DS it's a bargain. If you don't, it's still the cheapest way to get an emulated MS-20.

Based on this demo I'd say I want one. But there's also heaps of clips on Youtube that sound much less impressive. So still undecided yet.

I do not like it, a small plastic box with a sound generator, pfffff
where is the sense for ergonomic in musical instruments?

plus the fact that I even don`t like the sound of the original korg ms10.

I had one for many years.

for me it would be a toy, playing with at the pool on vacation, if my wife read some of the hundreds books placed in the luggage...

I doubt anyone will be listing DS-10 on any of their album equipment lists in the future, but that's missing the point. It is supposed to be a very cool toy at a bargain price. Although the sound quality on the DS headphone output isn't going to satisfy an audiophile, it's still good enough to use as a sound generator if you really wanted to. The touchpad interface is a bit like a KAOS pad so it does have a more novel input system than a keyboard and mouse. Frankly I think it's great, plus it generates interest in analogue synthesizers in general.

Most of the YouTube demos seem to be using the DS inbuilt speakers and so sound pretty terrible. I selected that one because the guy had clearly hooked the thing up to a decent set of speakers (or possibly directly into his PC).

Looks interesting.
Do you think this is something from someone totally unexperienced in synthesizers?
I do have a DS, and I don't mind the 30 Euros, but I don't want to be disappointed just because I might be too stupid to handle it...

I've tested.....The main interest (If you have the NDS) is the price !
For me, this soft is a distant cousin of ReBirth.
I read that there were projects only played with it...
7/10 !

Actually, it's hard to believe this is just the DS-10. But anyway, that's what it says.
