I think the same: it's not my cup of tea, but...

... I can easily understand they are probably the only way to get an "analogue" classic synth for most of the people. The Korg MS-20 reissue, although not sounding like the original, sounds very good and it will cost less than 20% the price of an old one (I recently saw an auction that ended at more than 3.000 euros Shocked ).

Definetively I would not pay 3.000 euros for an MS-20 (or PPG, Synthex, Yamaha CS, Oberheim or whatever)... but 700-800 euros could be affordable if it sounds good.

The same happens with some classic cars: I would pay 4.000 euros for a Saab 9000 Aero in a pretty good estate, but not 30.000, because it's the cost of a brand new good car.

IMHO, is someone pays 3.000 euros for a MS-20 we are not talking about music: we are talking about fetishim and collecting.
