MX802A - What a great little machine !

Just wanted to say how pleased I was with the performance of my tiny Behringer mixer at Hampshire Jam.

I was able to take the following signals and mix them into a stereo pair with very low noise and lots of headroom:

Yamaha AN1x - Stereo pair
Yamaha CS6x - Stereo pair
Nord Micro Modular - Mono 'dry' signal plus stereo 'wet' signal from Yamaha SPX-90.
Guitar through effects rack - Stereo pair
Novation K-Station - Stereo pair

We achieved this feat by using one of the stereo Aux Return channels as the Nord 'wet' signal, and using the other stereo Aux Return as the guitar input. In fact, there was still 1 mono (panable) channel and 1 stereo pair channel left over (2, if you count the 'tape in' channel, too).

Bugger, I could have mic'ed up that cowbell after all ! Sad

I can just second that. Using the exact tiny machine for some years now at home, I am quite pleased of its abilities. Does add a little bit of noise, but still ...

Behringer is nothing sensational in terms of manufacture and sound, but... we all would have given our backteeth for this type of stuff some 20 years ago, wouldn
