Nice of you to mention this album, Elias is one of my absolute favorites.

Requiem is a great album, yes. I have most of his other stuff too:

Children Of The Corn (soundtrack, 1984, LP)
Vamp (soundtrack, 1986, LP, great electronic music)
Two Moon Junction (soundtrack, 1988, ambient masterpiece)
Music For Film (promo, 1992)
Leprechaun 2 (soundtrack, 1994)
Resume (1986/1999)
The Prayer Cycle (1999)
American River (2004)

Elias has made a comeback with film music recently. He has scored the forthcoming Pathfinder movie.

a bit off-topic :

Children of the Corn

I have seen it in 1984 : fine horror story (Stephen King) and a good movie. Worth watching !

The Prayer Cycle is absolutely stunning, IMHO.

Still remember when I first heard it on Hearts of Space. I couldn't wait to get the cd. "Hope" is such a beautiful track. True emotion.

Be 'warned' though: this is modern 'classical' music, no EM (vocals by Alanis Morissette, James Taylor, and Musrat Fateh Ali Kahn a.o.).

Yes, The Prayer Cycle is a beautiful album, although I remember being disappointed when I got it in 1999 because it didn't feature any synths.

Elias he long been working on the Prayer Cycle follow up, called PRAYERS IN SILENCE. I guess it will be out in not such a long time.
