I've know his name for a few years but have yet to hear much of his music. I know he was once in the British prog group Camel.

My guess is that his solo stuff is better than the adult contemporary/new age music of another ex Camel keyboardist, Pete Bardens.

Any thoughts?

I have two albums from him, plus one DVD. "Azure" is from the late 80s. The production is unremarkable (mostly ROMpler sounds), all fairly melodic, but the album succeeds despite this. "SkyZone" is from 2006 (I actually picked this up because an online friend of mine performs a bit on it), much more ambient and deep... I guess the best point of reference is some of Steve Roach's ambient tracks.

He has many more releases; I really should check some of them out.
