I just realized I never posted a shot of my new ARP 2600 F/S Semi Modular that did arrive on July 6 after taking a week to get here from sunny California.

You may elect to purchase one of the sound cards that adds 100 additional sounds from www.mellotron.com

They are however quite expensive ... $500 ea.

Three months after this last post Korg released a F/S ARP 2600 and after waiting seven more months my 2600 will be here in my studio sometime tomorrow.

You Tube has the new ARP 2600 to view as well ...

Don't ask me why but I own both the scaled and full size versions of the KARP and I find the F/S sounds a little more powerful than the scaled down version.

The F/S version comes with the SQ-1 Step ...

I just did a search and found out it sells for $3500 ..... ouch!

I mentioned KORG but I forgot to mention BEHRINGER. They too have a great version of the Odyssey complete with effects and step sequ ...

There was a rumor that KORG may someday release there version of the ARP 2600.

I would be interested in either a scaled down or a full scale ...

Sorry, my mistake.

When ever I see or think I see an ARP 2600 I feel a sharp pain in my heart and now that I get a closer look at your Odyssey I can see it is a KARP!

I once owned a 2600 but in a panic when ARP went out of business I sold it!

The biggest mistake in my life.

I had 2 Odysseys and sold them too.

Now I own a KORG F/S ARP Odyss ...

Shame on all this negative feedback. The man is in poor health but he wanted to say thanks to his fans by recording what most likely will be his last release.

Starwalker, you are going to be shocked to know that was Peter's grandson playing around on the piano. Sadly he died a couple years later when he was kayaking and drowned at the young age of 10.

I did listen to both CD's and the audio may not be excellent it is very damn close to incredible considering the source of the master.

Yes you will hear an occasional throat clearing, squeaky chair ...
