Artemi, I still owe you the article about EF saying he likes Mirage,
I'll find it, I never throw anything away which causes my "hoarding" problem then finding specific items down the track.

@electrobs Yes, to me, Soil Festivities is the best Vangelis album in his analogue (pre-direct) era. The atmosphere is incredibly magical, the sounds superb, and his ventures into atonality (Movement 3 and Movement 5, if I remember well) drove me right into space. Shocked

1- Vangelis - Blade Runner
2- Ashra - New Age of Earth
3- Tomita - Kosmos
4- Tangerine Dream - Phaedra
5- Michael Stearns - Chronos
6- Kevin Fortune Braheny - The Way Home
7- Jean-Michel Jarre - Equinoxe

Not sure if Stearns or Braheny are Golden Era, but they did make EM in the 70s so IMO are qualified to be included here.

My first post here! Might as well make it a list.

Kraftwerk: Autobahn (the album that started it all for me)
Kraftwerk: Kraftwerk (1) (Megaherz is beautiful!)
TD: Poland
TD: Zeit
TD: Rubycon
Vangelis: Soil Festivities
Vangelis: Earth
Vangelis: Beaubourg (to me this is a very immediate album, some beautiful moments)
Jean Michel Jarre: Magnetic Fields
Klaus Schulze: Mirage

Runners up:
Synergy: Cords
JMJ: Oxygene
JMJ: ZooLook
JMJ: Equinoxe
TD: Force Majeure
KS: ...Live...
KS: Moondawn
KS: Irrlicht
Gary Numan: Pleasure Principle
Vangelis: L'Apocalypse Des Animaux

A special shout out to Klaus Schulze's track "Sequenzer 70-07" from Kontinuum. One of the best EM pieces I've ever heard!

Nice to read I'm not the only one who's fond of this late Schulze masterpiece...
