Just in case some may not have come across this great website, it's been up for a while and someone did a fantastic job compiling the Nemo Years in words and pictures sourced from Vangelis' associates.
Does not look fancy but behind there is a goldmine with around a hundred rarely seen images, technical info about the gear and how each album was composed, the evolution/upgrades from analog to digital, etc.
Some images reveal a few more to scroll through. List of equipment, discography, original/translated Interviews...
Enjoy

it's been described as "pleasant disorder",
but what great music emerged from that mess

Thanks for the information, Dan.
It gives off a strong smell of Blade Runner.

I am very glad it's of interest.
I could never find out who did the website, there was an earlier/simpler version till about 2 years ago when this popped up.
It is official, acknowledged by Vangelis, and all the info comes from Vangelis's Assistants working with him, maybe it is one of them...
As I mentioned, it's not a striking website design and confusing to navigate for a few minutes, but it's full of interesting facts.
In fact this is the only Official website about Vangelis
There is more about his post Nemo time, his next move was back to Athens renting a floor in the Sound Studio Complex where he recorded Direct.
Then he went back to Paris building the Epsilon studio, another radical idea in the shape of a Glass House on a building roof in central Paris, bad luck struck again in 1993 with the Glass House getting demolished due to some building permits issues and Vangelis returned home to Greece.

dan, thx for pointing toward this site;
it covers a lot of info & insights in the world of Vangelis, his working habits & methods, the ins & oits of the studio and so much more.
Great stuff by all means.

I did anoter search to find out who own the website, nothing except it's NON-UK based:

Registrant type:

Registrant's address:
The registrant is a non-trading individual who has opted to have their
address omitted from the WHOIS service.

I thought for a moment it may be Cherry Vanilla who owns the VangelisWorld.com domain since Oceanic but never got developed...

Actually, there is only one official Vangelis site and that's the well known www.vangelisworld.com
The nemo website is not official website by any means, I have a distant connection with the maker of the site. The administrator is a just fan. For some of the content of the site he interviewed a number of former sound technicians 20 years ago, but non of them are current associates of Vangelis. You can read some info about the site here:

Thanks for the info, hope the webmaster will find more unique info and pictures.
What I meant by "official" is best read as "tolerated".
Vangelis (someone on his behalf) is quick to act on anything he may not like or approve that appears on the net.
I am aware of the Vangelis world but don't consider that a webpage, it popped up at the time of Oceanic in 1996 with promises for a site like no other...then nothing, in fact I remember the doamin name was lost (expired) and whoever got it donated it back to Cherry Vanilla.
And as it advises at the bottom of Vangelisworld webpage, I've been watching "that space" for 16 years...
Wellcome to the EM portal.
