I haven't really heard too much by Klangwelt but this piece is most magnificent. One of the best pieces of music I have heard for a long time, it reminds me of The Reason Why by Keller and Schonwalder.

Any other recommendations please?

Yes indeed.
I personally like the 2002 release Weltweit.

I really like the 10-minute Okzident, which appeared on the E-dition Vol. 15 sampler CD. It had certain Deep Forest-elements.

The Age of Numbers is a superb album and well worth getting.
Oxzident is from the XOIO album released in 2006.

He seems to have been very quiet over the last few years, you can check out his web page here:-

We exchanged emails a few years ago now, time sure does fly, Gerald is a really nice guy, and I hope he returns to the EM scene soon.

a few months back I contact him again.
Gerald has been very busy the last few years with a kind of music magazine, leaving very little (or better: no) time to compose new music;
a few seem to be done though, but by far not enough for a new album release..
He remains a quality Em-composer by all means, although the overall music of his 3rd album hadn't the same impact on me as the previous two....

Excellent music:
No Response is my favorite Klangwelt track, but i love all his albums.
Back in 2006-2007 it was a revelation for me (more original than many electronic artists this day Sad((

Thanks guys. I've ordered the XOIO and Age of Numbers CDs and have been youtubing as well.

Long Distance is a wonderful track, especially from 6:20 onwards, such a beautiful piece of music. Krzycek's channel on yt has some more fabulous tracks on. I love discovering new music Very Happy

I found tracks on yt called Enchanted and Starlight and it says they are taken from the forthcoming 4th album (2009) but I can't find details of that anywhere, it's not on his website. Was it ever relaesed?

All 3 releases (2002-2006) easy to listen to, melodic synth style.
Urville, a lone track surfaced on the Mellow Jet EM For Life 2011 2CD compilation.

CD's XOIO and Age of Numbers arrived today. Blown away by both of them, especially the former. The last track, Fade Away is one helluva moving piece of music, simply wonderful. And the last track on Numbers, The Beauty of Numbers is also another beautiful piece of music.

Two really stunningly magnificent albums.

PS - Does anyone know what happened to the proposed 4th album that should have had Enchanted and Starlight on it?

PPS - Okzident isn't really doing as much for me as the rest of the album.

Anyone know please?

Also, does anyone know where I can get a reasonably priced copy of Weltweit please? Can't seem to find it anywhere.
