It seems that the news has somehow escaped the general public. David Bedford of Mike Oldfield fame left this world on the 1st of October. Anybody knows the cause of his death?

Not sure, all I found was he passed away after a "short illness".
I'm afraid there will be more and more such news till we get there too...
RIP

What a shame!
I own and still listened to Bedford's The Odyssey which many may or may not know feature Andy Summers and Mike Oldfield and some beautiful ARP synthesizer pieces.
He was a very talented composer.
I only wish Bedford was better known here in the US where he deserved recognition.

The big "C" took David Bedford, I think it was quick as he was only diagnosed a couple of months earlier.
