Hi All.

The reactions are still poring in about E-Live 2011.
There is a great buzz about the festival, so if you enjoyed it
or want to enjoy the next edition, E-Day 2012 will be on April 28!!
Again in the Enck and we are now planning the artists.
We might not have a big act like LOOM but be assured that the fun
and music on the day itself will be great!!

I hope to update the E-Live website this week with photo's and reactions.
Again a big thanks to all who helped make it a great day!
Especially my helpers who do this since years, and of coarse the
musicians with whom this day would not have been possible.

Then I have a special announcement for a concert I will give on December 30th
in the great planetarium of Bochum.
Thnx to Schallwende and Sylvia Sommerfeld who made this possible this special event with
a lot of new music and a special FREE gift CD for all who will be there.
You can order your tickets up front and remember that the Planetarium only holds 240 seats
and I have heard over 80 tickets are already sold.
I you want more information check this website.
http://www.planetarium-bochum.de/de_DE/calendar/detail/9518458
For our German friends all information is in the concert section.
FUR UNSERE DEUTSCHEN FREUNDE ALLE INFORMATION IST IM CONCERT INFO!!

We also had our yearly (but it was in fact 3 years ago!!) inventory
so we found again a lot of CD's that where out of the catalog.
Somehow I managed to delete a lot of TD titles in July.
Must have pushed the wrong button somewhere Smile but they are back.
Many titles have only one copy so check the "what's new" button and
check it out. In total over 60 copies have been reentered. Or scroll
down and check the list in this E-News.

We also have a few new titles and in the coming week we will add
the complete catalog of Alio Die's label. It will be a big job but if you
are into Ambient and Dark Ambient this will be your thing.

Special focus on the new CD from Void - Avoidance.
It has been a long time since Void made a new album and finally we
have a new release by him. Great music in the vein of Tangerine Dream and
Jean Michel Jarre. A track plays now in this weeks
Dreamscape Radio so check that out.

Also new is World of Apes 2 from Moonbooter, it is great stuff!!
And announced is the new CD by David Wright - In search of Silence.
3 weeks ago we added Remember Green - Electro Shock.
Steen Chorchendorff Jorgensen is the man behind this project and he has
also made a CD under is own name with the title Internal Moments (cd).
This CD is also in Dreamscape-radio so check that out. I like it!!

If there are any titles you miss in our catalog let me know.
Also for musicians and labels, I am waiting for great new music to be added
to the catalog so if you think we have costumers for your music, and it is made
in a professional manner I can't wait to hear it!!

In Dreamscape Radio this week music by Eric v.d. Heijden, Kikai, Void,
Robert Schroeder, Waveworld, Can Atilla and others.
Dreamscape Radio show 159 is now on-line.

That was a lot of news and information.
Thanks for your time!!

Fantasie keine Grenzen gesetzt.

I would like to say an enormous "THANK YOU" to all the people who made
E-Live 2011 for what it was. The E-Live Crew gave (again) their 300%
devotion and enthousiam to make this day possible. This is what
electronic music is all about. Remember that only a handfull of people
guided 300+ people to a whole day without any single incident. I went
home very happy even though I was performer/roadie/camerman/René at
the same time, I enjoyed it a lot. I am already looking forward to
E-Day. I only saw a few glimpses of the other performances because I
had to watch my equipment as well allthough Ron & Monique oldest son,
Sam Boots, was helping me out a lot. Thank you Sam!! My impression of
those concerts was one of full inspiration and dedication of the musicians.

As you may know I recorded my concerts on a Sony Digital8 camera for
those who were not able to come to Oirschot. I have no intention to
release DVD's anyhow so this is for you. I put them all on YouTube
now. The audio quality is not the same as on the CDs offcourse. I hope
you like it and if you are able to comment, please do. Even if you
don't like it. Here are the links:

Hi Everyone,

Here is a video I made for the promotion of my recently released Apollo

I made all the 3D animations myself with Cinema 4D. This video was shown
during the E-live festival on the 15th of October 2011.

STEVE SMITH & THE TYLAS CYNDROME (CD)
Phoenix Arising
In the electronic music community, synthesist Steve Smith is best
known as one half of the UK band VoLt. "Phoenix Arising" is actually a
project that has taken about 40 years in the making, as Steve and the
other two musicians involved in it (drummer & percussionist Les Sims
and guitarist Alan Ford) followed their own way in life after some
initial good intentions.
I’m glad though this release has finally seen the light of day,
despite the hellish making-of process that especially Steve had to
endure to get to this great outcome. For a more in-depth description
on that matter I refer to the article on "The Making-of Phoenix
Arising" found in the Feature-section of this site.
"Phoenix Arising" features some exciting and accesible electronic
music with even a rocking flavour, alltogether fitting nicely next to
the style of Paul Ward, John Dyson and alike. The high-five track
"Spanish Storm" -that was already great in its first draft on a
3-track promo, although shorter- already creates a great and inviting
mood with its up-tempo sequencing and melodic line after an
atmospheric intro. The seven tracks following after that display a
cool and groovy selection of emotional electronics with lively drums
along some vibrant, catchy synths and guitar solo’s. The latter even
nicely "battle" with each other on the title track found at the tail
of the cd. A special note on the seventh track "Deep Depression" with
its moody, descriptive atmosphere and nicely building sound levels
along a symphonic air in the second half.
All in all, the well-produced and energetic "Phoenix Arising" proves a
strong and highly recommendable album.
