Radio Massacre International -- Frozen North

Quite an inspiration back in 1996...

Karl Bartos - Off The Record (CD)

Phantogram - Nightlife (CD)

VED - Spectra (LP) Cool
Fans of TD's Green Desert will rejoice. Probably the album of the year.
Complete album stream: https://soundcloud.com/adrianrec/sets/ved-spectra/

KS - The Schulze-Schickert Session (LP)
Amazing vinyl pressing! Classic Schulze!

Richard Wahnfried - Megatone (LP)
Always had a weak spot for Angry Young Boys. The guitar sounds almost like it was done by Judas Priest!

Never really got around to give it a close listen so far. Hm, Judas Priest. Like in which year...?

To my own surprise, Al Gromer Kahn sent my a friend request on FB a few days ago.
We had a nice little chat about Peter Michael Hamel, etc.
Very likeable man. And a great musician, of course...

Today I decided to do a little Krautrock revival:

Birth Control, Hoodoo Man (Vinyl)

Grobschnitt, Solar Music Live (Vinyl)

Eloy, Floating (Vinyl)

Novalis, Banished Bridge (Vinyl)

Sensations' Fix - Fragments of Light - following on from Franco Falsini's Cold Nose (I want to write 'false nose'), another pleasant prog-electronic period piece.

Helios Creed - Deep Blue Love Vacuum

The Schulze-Schickert Session - about halfway through the main piece. Sublime. I've aleways resisted listening to the bootleg release so I'm coming to this cold (with a cold nose, as it were)

The Godfathers - Jukebox Fury - unexpected but welcome new album from one of my favourite English bands.

Me too. Sublime absolutely, a wonder why it was never released before officially. I have it on vinyl, and it is one of the best pressings I have ever heard. Are the bonus tracks good?

Likewise John, although you own a lot more music than me Smile
Yes, Judas Priest is fantastic band, probably the best metal band to evolve and renew themselves.

I think the guitar sound is somewhat 1977-1979 era.

BruecknerAmbient: Interesting. Thanks for the tip...
Great band from Malmö, I saw them open for Michael Rother 2½ years ago, and was surprised to find a new album from them in my record shop.

Klaus Schulze -- Heart

Rather nice... until Arthur Brown kicks in.
