Good Day!
October 11th, 2008 was a memorable day not only because of the excellent music at E-Live in Eindhoven but especially because of the nice conversations I had with a couple of interesting people who all had one thing in common : a passion for electronic music. One of the guys I met there was Max Delissen. Apart from the fact that we never met before it felt like we continued a conversation that we started years ago (I virtually met Max for the first time on EM forum.nl in 2004) which made it quite easy to communicate especially about one subject that we have been discussing for the last 12 months. I would buy the double cd.
Price, for a double my suggestion would be 25 US dollars or less plus shipping.
Definitely would spread the word to help promote it and give a listing of distributors.

try to make a short youtube movie; pictures from the artist and their gear, some em portal screenshots, maybe some nature/space images/movies. and text of course.
post it on youtube and all artist/supporters link this movie in their personal sites.
just an idea....

Thanks for your positive reactions so far. Very motivating! 
- For the pricing it looks like we will be able to determine a price that will be suitable for everybody.
- Thanks Jan for reminding me that there is something missing. I will make a complete listing with tracks and artists.
- Eppie's idea is a nice one but unfortunately I have no experience to make this happen. Anybody here on the forum who would be willing to help me out?

Just an idea: Special myspace profile for that album where myspace friends will be all artists contibuting to the album, plus also others, plus all possible lables/distributors/radioshows etc.

I think 500 copys is far to much!
Get 250 instead.
I think that is the maximum you could sell, if you need more go for another 250.

Most of the manufacturers require a minimum of 500 copies. If you want less you pay the same amount of money.
