<shudder>
I really dislike the term New Age as applied to the electronic, ambient, and spacemusic that I play on Galactic Travels. This music is rooted in experimental music and Rock. I think of it as a totally different animal than the New Age stuff that I play during Phase 1 of Afterglow and Phase 2 of Thought Radio. I know that electronic music gets lumped together with New Age music for marketing reasons that I just cannot fathom. But when Tangerine Dream started out, their records were in the Rock bins in all the record stores I visited in the '70s. Now they're in the New Age bins which I find curious, to say the least. _________________ Bill
