Cool that Orbital is back again. I still play their two first albums.

Satriani too...The Extremist from 1992 is one of my favorites.

I even like Cutting Crew too, The Broadcast is a great track:

Lisa Gerrard & Cye Wood : The Trail of Gengis Khan. A real masterpiece. In my opinion, Lisa Gerrard's best album since The Silver Tree. Cool

So she finally takes a break from the soundtracks?

I must admit I don't like her soundtrack work at all Rolling Eyes (except 'Whalerider', which I find very good). Nevertheless, even though she never stops releasing soundtracks (two were announced recently), she also composes albums : 'The Black Pearl' (2009), 'Departum' (2010) and 'The Trail of Gengis Khan' (2011) seem to be the latest ones. In my opinion, 'The Black Pearl' is barely OK, 'Departum' is good and 'The Trail of Gengis Khan' excellent.

I wholeheartedly agree on Whale Rider. It was the best film score of 2002, IMO.

I seem to remember Stand And Deliver being quite nice. A Varese release not too often talked about. Elm Street 4 is decent too, and of course his Thief contribution.

Cool that you bought the buysoundtrax Legend release too! Laughing

Flow and Beyond City Light are two of my favorite releases. Jenkins is a terrific composer. Flow reminds me of summer 1999 when I had just got the CD and played it all the time. The track Zzyzx Road on BCL is one of my favorite tracks ever.
