Doors Open: 13.30

Musiczeit, the premier electronic music download store, are proud to announce the continuation of the legend that is the Hampshire Jam Electronic Music Festival. Created and run by uber-fan Steve Jenkins this legendary event has garnered a truly unique reputation and atmosphere. Unashamedly retro in it's outlook it has provided the only regular electronic music festival in the UK for some time and gives fans of that breed of EM exactly what they want. Steve moved abroad to work in 2008 and so last years show was the last that he was able to stage. Rather than let such a fantastic event die MusicZeit stepped in and with the full backing of Steve have now taken over the reigns of running this festival. Adhering to the old adage "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" the new organisers are sticking to the tried and tested formula that has served the Hampshire Jam so well in the past. Same venue, lights & PA and with four acts picked from the cream of electronic music this years event will again be staged at The Millenium Hall, Liphook, Hampshire. The event will take place on Saturday October 31st and will feature performances by:

> Air Sculpture

> Brendan Pollard (with guests including Free System Projekt)

> Callisto

> Radio Massacre International.

Tickets are now on sale from MusicZeit @

Liphook.
I see in the map is near Guildford. I guess the best way to reach there if you are coming from another country is by train once you are in London, right?

You can get probably get a train from London to Liphook on the Friday or Saturday, but it might be a bit more difficult getting one back on the Sunday, due to works

This might be a good time to mention that Dave Gurr from The Omega Syndicate is organising an Omega Syndicate gig/jam on the Friday night before the HJ

this is the place to check for trains. it's too early to check for oct/nov but there seem to be trains every hour in both directions including sundays.

The main problem with Liphook is the lack of hotels. But there are some in surrounding towns.

Looking forward to this now. As usual we have left everything to the last minute. Rolling Eyes
Hopefully there will be a surprise extra 'guest' playing with Brendan. Smile

And don't forget, if you are in or around Liphook on the Friday evening The Omega Syndicate are putting on a special concert in the Old Village Hall (tghis is not the same hall where the main Jam concert will be held but is right in the centre of the village near the Hungry Horse pub).

Hi Steve, it was a great day. Thanks to your organisational foundations it pretty much went like clockwork, only major hitch was David Wrights knee "went" during his soundcheck and he was in major pain but despite that put on a great set, as did all the artists. It was a pleasure to be at an event there everyone: artists, organisers, audience, hall staff etc were so pleasant and were just there to have a good time.

Thanks especially to all the artists who put on stunning sets. I hope some of them will find their way onto MusicZeit soon. Smile

There were some very fancy cameras in the audience so I'm sure a lot of pics will find their way here, I'll post some of mine...
