presenting # 234:
Ian Boddy > Sequence in Blue
from the brand new album "Pearl" (release date: November 9th, 2010)
"Sequence in Blue. This is the original version of this track which was commissioned by the label Just Create Records in 1995 for the compilation Ambient Northern Lights. This is probably the closest I've ever got to trance/dance music and later that year with the addition of some over-dubs it also came out on my album Symbiont with Andy Pickford. In hindsight though I think I prefer the simplicity of this more stripped down version and it was later reissued on my Rare Elements 2CD compilation set from 1997."

presenting # 237:
The Golden Cake Company > A warm Bath of Electronics
first track of the new electronic album by The Golden Cake Company
The Golden Cake Company is a group of improvising musicians based in the Welsh Marches area of Britain.
The core membership is Simon Lewis (Phoenix Cube), Steve Palmer (Mooch) and Geoff Puplett, who primarily plays guitar, but also synths. The group use mostly old, analogue synthesizers to create the basis of their ambient sound: a Korg MS20, a Yamaha CS-30 and a Sequential Pro-One. Geoff’s guitar is put through a maze of vintage effects pedals.
Music created by The Golden Cake Company, autumn 2010 at Geoff’s place. Analogue synths: Korg MS20, Yamaha CS-30, Sequential Pro-1. Geoff’s guitars put through vintage FX. Produced, mixed & mastered by Steve Palmer at the Studio-by-the-Stream, May 2011.

Koos, you have my permission to use the Bonustrack Spacelab from the combi-EP album. (if you want)
That's a very nice gesture René, thank you
That means two new tracks in our 'Wurlitzer' next week, keep watching this 'space'!
