Recently I watched David Lynch's film Eraserhead. Fantastic movie! And a very interesting soundtrack, all those low frequency atmospheric noises. I wonder who did the soundtrack for Eraserhead. I read that in a first period Lynch has collaborated with composer Kim Cascone, before replacing him with Angelo Badalamenti.
I'm in particular a fan of David Lynch and Paul Verhoeven's movies.

According to imdb.com David Lynch wrote the music himself.
I don't think Kim Cascone was a film composer, he was more of a sound engineer, wasn't he.

Amazing movie and soundtrack - it was Lynch who did the music.
