On August 9 my solo album "The Android Tales (Volume One)" will be released on SynGate's sub label "Waves" - their department for cinematic music. And cinematic it is, along with offering a nice blend of (both dark and ethereal) ambient and good old sequencer driven space music, also known as Berlin School!

Those of You who are following my posts on YT will immediately notice the connection of this album to a couple of videos I have released there earlier this year (including the last one). And You are right - much of the music on this album is based on those pieces BUT it is not the same. No - not at all!
For the album release, I've condensed, refined, remixed, rearranged and added to those compositions in a way that leaves the origins recognizable and at the same time resulted in something new and different...
You can find out for Yourselves once the album is available, but in the meanwhile, here is a mix of a few excerpts.
In the video (as You will see) I have used some footage shot during the album sessions / production. If You're looking closely, You might notice that I don't play exactly what You hear. That's because there wasn't always someone around for filming when I worked on the album.
It's always something I did - a sequence, chords, a solo, a little bit guitar even - for the part that You hear, but what You see were not the final versions.
Oh, and You'll see me doing the most important thing in the production process, too - listening, listening closely and listening again. And drinking tea. Lots of it...
