Wed Jul 12, 2017 9:14 pm Recent Tangerine Dream & Ulrich & Thorsten Interview |
  |
Good Evening Folks,
I have been given details to join this site from Brendan Pollard.
Like Brendan, I've been a big fan of Tangerine Dream music for a vast part of my life. I recently went over to Berlin to attend two concerts and was given the opportunity to interview the guys the day after the last concert.
I played this out on radio on June 30th 2017 and you can catch up on this interview here: https://www.mixcloud.com/honzawhitty/tangerine-dream-interview-berlin-26-06-2017/
The next part of the interview will be played during the show from 7pm UK time on July 14th 2017 here: http://mixlr.com/1-ear-2-hear/
I hope that you enjoy the interviews and look forward to you joining me for future shows? The radio show will aways be playing music of this genre for a couple of hours at the end of each month.
Thank you for reading my post.
Regards
John

Thanks, very interesting.
Schnauss is the better English talker of the two, that's quite clear. He's the easiest to understand.
Interesting that Schnauss says the same that Edgar said, that he's making music primarily for himself. In many ways he sounds like a young Edgar, also in a philosophical way.

I've met Ulrich at his London studio when delivering his modified Korg DW8000 and helping out with his gear out updates and have seen him live recently as a solo artist. I'd like to call him a friend but that would be pushing it TBH. A great guy in general - no surprises there.
You might not know that he does a great music podcast with eclectic music here:
