Tony Scott one of my favorite film directors and the brother of Ridley Scott took his life at the age of 68!! A tragedy as he leaves a wife and 2 kids!

Very sad news. Tony was a very talented director, the only problem was he usually directed the so called blockbusters (Top Gun, Days of Thunder, Deja Vu, etc). True Romance and the extraordinary Crimson Tide are two of my favourite movies.

R.I.P.

this news blew me away this morning as well.
Most tragic while leaving lots of questions...Can life really be so hard and a total burden on a humans shoulders?

Anyway, RIP Tony.

Seems like he had a terminal illness, and he chose this solution.

He was one of my favorites, I love films like Man On Fire, The Fan, Deja Vu and Crimson Tide.

But most importantly, I love the was he scored his films. Harold Faltermeyer, Hans Zimmer and Harry Gregson-Williams wrote dynamite electronic scores for his films. Should indeed be interesting for members of this board.

Even Michael Hoenig got in on the act, producing Jack Nitzsche's score to Revenge in 1990.
