A marvelous DVD. When it came out in 2005, the collector in me skipped a heartbeat if not two . Before, 'George Matthieu' had always been an unfindable rarity.

I personally like this older material better then the newer (on the previous pages).
The organ-string like sound are absolutely gorgeuos, much better imo then a piano sound with strings attached to it (strings that follow the piano sound exactly) as he does in the last years. _________________ http://www.freesystemprojekt.nl
my favorite also. By the way, I love the results you're achieving with these. Consistently better sound and quite a bit longer than the other mp3s that have been mentioned before. Keep it up!

And here is an absolute Vangelis classic gem, so far the best track from tapes 1 & 2, possibly the best out of 8 hours of music, crank up the volume again
what a real beauty this indeed is!
Keep up the fantastic work on this stuff, Dan, although it must take loads of time & patience.. _________________ www.SonicImmersion.org

This thread is a prime example of why I KNEW I'd been away from here for far too long. Excellent work, Dan! Great conversation all around - everyone. _________________ http://www.jeffsampsonmusic.com

Jeff,
you are welcome and as long as memebrs enjoy the music there will be plenty more.
Tape 1 & 3 produced just over 6 hours of seamless music with track lengths ranging between 6-31 minutes, quite a few are just over 21 minutes.
There will be 2-3 more coming over the weekend.
The total music will be 8.5-9 hours from all 3 videotapes.
I am also looking forward to hear them all properly rather than focusing on editing and hunt for elsuive clicks and other audio artefacts. _________________ Imagination is more important than knowledge
