I don't know if this is the correct sub-forum for posting about it, but one month ago I ordered some CDs from the Picture Palace Music webpage:
http://www.picture-palace-music.com/
The payment was done but I haven't received any news from them since that moment. I've tried to contact them, but the webpage seems to be down.
Does anyone know is there is any problem with this page?
Thanks in advance.

Same old story. Don't order compact discs from that site!

Thorsten packs and mails the CD's himself and if he's busy nothing gets done untill he has the time. I only ordered once direct from PPM and waited 6 weeks for delivery..

Unless it's clearly stated on the website, this is pretty much unacceptable. If he doesn't have the time and/or resources to properly handle orders, he should leave distribution to others.
Also, I think all PPM covers are pretty much awful. Perhaps that's also because Thorsten does't have time to work on it?

OK. So I think I will wait until Christmas, if nothing happens I will cancel the payment.
Thanks for your answers.

I buy their releases usually from Groove.
But I am also unimpressed by the home made CDr presentation releases as opposed to the proper ones released by Groove or Manikin.
As for titles/covers, Throsten must have been around EF who must think of being a Salvador Dali excéntrico.
Take the latest Electronic-Poetry-Tour-EP, further subtitled -Music for weaving mills & weekend millionaires-
The CDr runs for 1 hour ( 3 EP's?) "recorded in 2005-2011" in 5 different studios.
Tracks 1-7 are alternative outtakes/mixes from previous albums.
Then tracks 8-11 come under another subtitled section:
Pois, Windmills And Butterflies
Music is good, the usual varied short tracks, but what does all the above mean?

Agreed. Not a good way to handle customers.
TQ is very active on Facebook, maybe that's where all his time goes?
I only have one album, Symphony For Vampires, uneven stuff. I think they release too much, maybe they should concentrate on the good stuff.

What does it all mean?: buyer beware?

Finally I put a the problem in PayPal hands, claiming for my money to be refund, and some days later I received the CDs at home.
Very good music, by the way.

Very good music, by the way.
Same happened to me, 2 CDr's (Walpurgisnacht & Next Year, we may be all many miles away) turned up 3 days ago.
I was wondering where they came from as with PPM you never get any status acknowledgement or tracking (like eBay, discogs, amazon, etc.) other than the payPal payment notice at the time.
I ordered them some 3 months ago and forgot all about them.
There was a card signed by Thorsten, they must be busy filling order as time permits.
