As enigmatic as ever, while the historic info mentions Ralf Hutter as a founder there is nothing about who Kraftwerk is today

The others are showroom dummies and replaceable as such.

I read one of the books about them, FS seems the weird one.
The book author sent him a manuscript copy before printing hoping for some reaction, the packed came back to him unopened.
After the book was published, FS rang the guy telling him the book was "shit".
FS would never acknowledge to Karl Bartos and Wolfgang Flur that they are/were KW members considering them more like long term session musicians... a lot of strange stuff went on in the KlingKlang studio.

I think you´re mixing something up here.
Florian is indeed a little weird but actually a rather kind sort of person -- but very elusive as a character, very withdrawn and not exactly sociable. Ralf is the one who is reported to have said "Wolfgang who...?" on the phone, and he is also quoted as having said "we´ve had many collaborators over the past couple of years, I simply can´t remember every single one of them" when being asked for Flür and Bartos.

Yes, I screwed up the initials re-mix, Ralf Hütter emerged as the "alpha" male...
FS is quoted as an introvert but very pleasant guy once he starts talking
this is the book I picked up at an airport a couple of years back:
Just shows that often there is something strange behind something really good, unauthorized biographies tend to paint a more complete picture too.
What I read did not affect how I feel about the music, but I always imagined them as a 4 strange men team not just 1.
Thanks for the YouTube link Andy, it confirms the book nicely.
