Hi All.

Wow a lot of new releases this week, Bernd Kistenmacher's Antimatter
came in this week, you can hear it in this weeks dreamscape.
Also the first preview of Rene Splinters new Album Singularities, and
it also features Jens Buchert - Electronic Space Odyssey .
Check that out if you like rhythmic EM.!! Fine album.

Rene Splinter made also a preview film for his upcoming release,
and concert in the planetarium in Bochum!! you can have a look here.

We also have already copies from the new Keller & Schonwalder &
Broekhuis - Hampshire Jam in stock.
And of coarse the new TM Solver - Line On Glass.

In February we expect also a lot of new releases.
A great new (okay it is older music but still) release by Suzanne
Ciani - Lixiviation. This is music she made right at the beginning of her
musical travels. Looking forward to that.
Also on it's way is the brand new Ulrich Schnauss - Underrated Silence.

And then 2 big new releases planned first a brand new Ian Boddy & Erik
Wøllo - Frontiers (cd). That must be a fabulous release two of EM's most
innovative musicians together !! Yummi!!
And then the new CD by Robert Schroeder - D.MO VOL. 3 both are
scheduled for March!

We have also put the second list of price changes in E-News, they
where already effective last 2 weeks but the list would have been to long
if I had put all of them in at once.

And then I had a big faux pas last week, E-Day will be held on the
28TH!! of April. Saturday 28th !!
Not on the 27th like I wrote last week.
And the first band to be announced is PICTURE PALACE MUSIC !
Back again by many's request, 2 years ago in 2010 they rocked the
house with there fantastic show.
I am sure they will do this again this time so come and join us!!
PPM is build around "Thorsten Quaeschning - Keyboarder of Tangerine
Dream since 2005 and Co-Composer of albums like "The Angel Of The West
Window", "Finnegans Wake", "The Island Of The Fay", "Purple Diluvial",
"Springtime in Nagasaki", "Madcap´s Flaming Duty", Jeanne D'Arc".

Dreamscape Radio has music this week from the following artists:
Bernd Kistenmacher, Rene Splinter, Bill Vermette, Brainwork e.a.
e.a Dreamscape Radio show 174 is now on-line.

Thanks for your time!!
E-News is made by Ron Boots.
Thanks to all who contribute news.

Rosenthal, Sam - Passage (86910)

You'll have to forgive me if I seem a little foggy. I've just spent an
hour floating around inside of Sam Rosenthal's The Passage, and it can
take a while to come back to reality. Stepping off from a 16-minute
Black Tape For A Blue Girl song from 1999, The Passage sends the
listener on two quiet journeys, one 45 minutes long, the other a
10-minute combination wake-up call and mental palate cleanser.
Together they create a space cut off from time, minimalist drones
coursing in warm, fluid waves that completely envelop the deep
listener. I'm sure this disc sounds fine as a low-volume loop, but put
in the headphones, keep it a little on the low side, and it becomes a
long, calming, therapeutic brain massage. Rosenthal lets his waveforms
roll forward, transformations in tone coming slowly-more like a subtle
change in temperature than any sort of sonic shift. He seems content
to set his layers in motion and let them decide where to go next. You
will get lost in here, make no mistake. When the first 45 minutes have
glacially eased their way past, you may only become aware that you've
moved into the second track, "Rae," when violinist Vicki Richards
softly makes her entrance. "Rae" is lighter in overall tone than the
title track, a lazy spiral of sound moving upward, bringing you back
to an awareness of your breath, and fading quite perfectly into a
well-deserved contemplative silence. The Passage is a perfectly
constructed piece of drone ambient, a comforting swath of negative
space to retreat into to just exist in the sound for a while.
A superb offering from Sam Rosenthal.

Alpha Wave Movement - Myriad Stars (70087)

"Myriad Stars" is brand new album by Gregory Kyryluk, the sole creator
of Alpha Wave Movement, released in September 2011 on his own Harmonic
Resonance Recordings label. The album fires with deeply drifting
"Beacon 1" graciously opening the gates to this joyous intergalactic
space odyssey. Spiced with pulsing mid-paced effects it creates warmly
inviting atmosphere. Celestial washes open "The Dark Lure", colored
with futuristic sonics, this piece quickly transfers into more
melodious plateau, gently pulsing and rhythmed electronics with own,
trade marking AWM sound sculpting. Well done, Greg! "Beacon 2" utilizes
absolutely charming melodies, perfectly balanced with grandeur drifts.
Yes, this is AWM at his most sophisticated craft exploring the depth
of extraterrestrial realms! Then follow two parts of "Gravity Well
Flux", with the first one being rather more deeper and mysterious,
while the second part is progressing into active texture in shimmering
Berlin School EM fashion, simultaneously atmospheric and driving.
"Beacon 3" incorporates hauntingly dreamy airwaves with semi-melodic
elements and angelic choir-like sounds, a true celestial beauty in my
ears! "Anatomical Universe" is attractively painted with free floating
stratospheric ambience and later joined by ear-catching kinetic
rhythms, undoubtedly the most moving composition on this trip, again
with skillfully bridged dreamy atmospheres and pulsing melodies.
"Singularities" drifts into deeper space enriched occasionally by
various bubling cybernetics and processed heavenly choirs, later
semi-melodious patterns are added, definitely a true masterpiece!!!
Over 14 minutes long "Star Birth" remains in the deeper and vast
territories with its warmly aerial and absorbing sky-scapes with
fragile sonic gurgles, later invaded by sharper, crystal clear space
melodies. Another highly elegant and magnetizing sculpting! "73 74 61
72" is the closing composition enriched with space rumblings, hisses,
gurgles..., rather intense and sonorous, more experimental texture,
colored also by various processed radio transmissions, adventurous outro!

"Myriad Stars" by Alpha Wave Movement is another fine space/ambient
album demonstrating potential, craft and musicality of Gregory
Kyryluk, it's highly recommended sonic journey to look deeper into the
vast expanse of the universe!!!

2011. Richard Gürtler / Bratislava, Slovakia
