Is there a way that listeners can choose whether to reduce the bandwidth requirement for the jukebox? An option to reduce the quality, in other words, for those of us stuck with Internet connections from the late 1990s? Until Telstra sees fit to provide faster broadband speeds to us poor saps in Darwin, I'm limited to 1.5 Mbps and that's apparently not fast enough for the jukebox because it keeps buffering every 5 seconds.

Unfortunately not.

The buffering could also be caused by slow server connections. Some servers where the music is hosted on are just not that fast. I have a 20Mbs connection and noticed the buffering too for some tracks.

Hello, I've only been a member for 10 days so please excuse my dumb questions. I cannot find ... oh wait, there is the link now. It wasn't there a minute ago.

While I am here, how about another dumb question?

How do I download Flash 9 Question

Thanks

Thanks Susan! I was just looking up the url.

As for the link to the jukebox: it only shows when you're logged in.

And you know: there's no dumb questions. Hope you'll like the music in the jukebox.

Thank you Susan for the link ... but still the Jukebox is only in the tool bar when I post a reply.

Am I missing something?

Steve,

open this URL:
http://www.emportal.info/mp3player/mp3player.html

If you have Flash installed as your browers plug-in, you should see the juke-box after a while loading. Select a track and enjoy the music.

It should be there whenever you're logged in. You click on it once and then it stays open in a separate window. You can leave the jukebox window open and continue with surfing the net.

Although that definitely works, it's not how we intended the jukebox to be used. Wink Rather use the Jukebox link in the top menu bar (which will eventually be the only way to get to the jukebox).

Thanks Susan again for the link which I downloaded successfully and thanks Till an Koos for the info on reaching the Jukebox.

I am listening now but it buffers every second ... blame it on dial-up I guess.

Anyway, Omnivorous is one of my tracks recorded absolutely live with no rehearsals, edits or overdubs ... just your typical EM jam session with a drummer and me obviously on synthesizers, thus the name Qrazy Synth Man.

The name of the artists should be Cosmic Testicles jamming together on and off since 1996 and the name of the session CD-R is Deathray Visitors.

Thanks again ~ Qrazy Synth Man

it does that for me too, and I'm on broadband, perhaps the bit-rate is too high?

Anyhow, it's a nice track Smile

Thank you for taking the time to give the track a listen and saying it was a nice track, but how did you get to hear it play straight through without buffering?
