Please add a synthpop/newwave/post punk/industrial section!!!
And a techno section. Get rid of the "dance" section. That section is meaningless.

Getting rid of "dance" should be a good first step?

Roger.

We got that loud and clear. However, there are probably already too many sections here (we've had that discussion before). Sometimes it's really confusing as to where to post what.
So I'd be interested to hear what other members think of adding (yet) another section...

some of the sections should be merged into one group.

These I really don't find interesting. It doesn't add to anything in my EM experience:

- Cut into pieces
- International Music Scene
- all the miscellaneous topics in one
- The Mall - skip that one completely
- cooperation corner

Even though I´m very much with Feb Birthed, I don´t think there would be any point in adding these subforums as there aren´t that many people on this forum who´d be into techno, industrial, or synth/wave pop.

I´d say a classifieds section would be great for selling and buying CDs that are out of print or which you want to get rid of. And not only CDs or LPs but also all things related to EM (hey, I´ve got two autograph cards of Klaus Schulze if anybody´s interested Wink )...

I just went through the forum sections and topics, to be honest I think everything's covered pretty well, all we have to do is post.
Historically, I remember more posts being locked or removed (due to controversy) than actually "moved" to another section.

If the dance section needs to go, replace it with "Other Great Music", this is primarily an EM forum and we know the members don't listen to EM only whatever that may be... Rolling Eyes

Splitting hairs with styles is risky, there are far too many and everyone may categorize the same music slightly different ending up in pointless discussions.

I find the layout clean, stylish and most importantly very readable, such changes may not be easy to implement and whatever new comes will be liked/disliked by some.
A redesign would be over the top considering this is self funded and then debugging things.

The short form, I like it as it is, I prefer content over website cosmetics.
