Dear friends, listeners & supporters,

I'm happy to announce that Reiseziel Mond (Destination Moon) by EVERLING & BRÜCKNER has been released today on renowned electronic music label SynGate Records sub-label Wave as a double CD-r set (and / or download of course).

The music is based on (and partly taken from) our two-part concert on the rooftop of the local observatory of Eastern German town Rodewisch, in July 2019, as part of the "Mondkino" open air cinema event, which on that occasion joined in with the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. Detlev Everling's Theremin playing is an important part of the album.

Musically You can expect a nice and balanced mix of melodic EM (sometimes with a Berlin School touch), ambient, and more contemporary chill-out, with some cinematic / neoclassical moments here and some experimental excursions there.

The marvellous cover artwork is by Russian painter Diana Dudareva.

You can read the full "background story" of the album in the "liner notes" on its Bandcamp page - where You also can check out many of the tracks:

"Phew! REISEZIEL MOND is quite an experience in music. There is a lot of music in this album whose ambient side is quite unique. The first CD offers a latent figure that explodes right in the middle to get us out of our shoes with the title-track. The second CD is quieter with an excellent title which is worth the price of this double album."

Concludes Sylvain Lupari in his recent in-depth review of "Reiseziel Mond" by Detlev Everling and myself.

I have the impression we challenged him a bit with this album, but he was up to it!
