Two days to go until the EDGAR FROESE Memorial day at the Barbican Library* in London on Friday, January 24. Doors open at 6.30pm, and the event itself will start at 7.00pm. There will be music from Hans-Joachim Roedelius (Kluster, Cluster, Harmonia, Qluster & solo), Linda Spa (ex-Tangerine Dream), Paul Frick (Brandt, Brauer, Frick and Tangerine Dream guest), Hoshiko Yamane, and Thorsten Quaeschning. Afaik due to space limitations at the venue, this will be acoustic music only. *the library is on the 2nd floor of the Barbican centre. Nice version. When I first read about it I thought she was going to play sax... fortunately she played piano.

Also the Thorsten Quaeschning/Hoshiko Yamane/ Paul Frick
version of Love On A Real Train is very nice.
