Just received III. First listen , very good, definite 70s vibe again. Track 1 in particular is great. Also have Sessions I and II which are equally enjoyable.

Been on a bit of a ...txt frenzy, Lee Norris label - Autumn of Communion member.
Various - Journal Of Organic Music
Autumn Of Communion - Broken Apart By Echoes
Autumn Of Communion - Broken Apart By Sunlight
Ishq - Sen
Nacht Plank - Nemmit Con
Plank* And Ishq - Zeal Monachorum
All are superb, consistent high quality and recommended if you like the more ambient side of electronica. Many other aspects to the music it also has to be said.
Nemmit Con - strange, weird, haunting , hints of melody . I love it.

Thank you !
Have you noticed that, on Sessions II, the sound quality was ... somewhat unpleasant, constrained, as if too much hiss removal had been applied ? I think and hope that won't be the case on I and III. According to what I heard on Youtube, it shouldn't, while this flaw was already audible online for II (I should have realized it would be present on the CDs too before buying).

Think I have only listened to II a couple of times in the car and not on the main hifi, will give it another go. Have to say I am loving this improvisational 70s session thing.

Same for me. What a pity these albums are so difficult to find. To me, they're a rebirth of TD. This opinion will make more than a few people cringe but that's what I think.

I'm still giving this one some thought....
I've been listening to and buying Jarre's music since around 1984,
however, with The Essential (1983), Images (1991), Aero (2004),
Essentials and Rarities (2011), and Essential Recollection (2015),
I do feel he's pushing it a bit with yet another compilation....
Some of the tracks were only very recently released on albums such as Electronica and Oxygene 3.
I'm generally the last man to criticise Monsieur Jarre,
but I can't help but feel a little cynical about this release...
In terms of purchasing it,
I'm afraid the Jury is still out for me with this one....

As is Geometry of Love, which has been unavailable for a very long time if I'm not mistaken.
